Candidate for Senator of Nursing and Health Sciences

What is your academic major/educational track?

• My major is Human Physiology and Nutrition. With my degree I plan on attending nursing school to become an OBGYN.

Why are you running for this position in the Student Government Association?

• I am running for this position because I think that I would be a great advocate for the students in the Nursing and Health Science department. I think that with my career this position will give me a good steeping stone into becoming a better person all while helping others at the same time. I have served many different positions and various of groups starting in middle school all the way up to my first year of college at Kennesaw State University where I served as the vice president of a club called T.R.U.S.T.

What past experiences would make you a great candidate for the Student Government Association?

• My past experience that would make me a great candidate for the Student Government Association would be the all the positions I served starting from middle school through my first year of college. I was the president for Beta club all throughout middle school. During high school I held multiple positions but my most serious titles that required work was as the secretary for the beta club and then the president position for the octagon club.

What are some of your hobbies/interests and how are you involved at UCCS?

• My hobbies include shopping, spending time with my friends, volunteering at the goodwill by helping put price tags on clothing, I also enjoy going to the gym and being outdoors. I have not had the chance to really get involved at UCCS due to me being online and the campus not being as open I have not been able to get involved as I want to.
