I am majoring in communication with a minor in philosophy.
Why are you running for this position in the Student Government Association?
As a resident assistant, I have been able to hone my leadership skills and engage with diverse student populations as a campus representative. Through my role, I have developed the ability to effectively practice community building, conflict mediation, and interpersonal communication. My advocacy efforts as a Senator at Large will be informed by my understanding of the concerns and needs of my peers. I am confident that my background in residence life will directly translate to effective representation of the university community.
What are some of your hobbies/interests and how are you involved at UCCS?
I am primarily involved at UCCS as a resident assistant, and am also part of the philosophy club. Outside of school, I enjoy weightlifting, rock climbing, hiking, sports, and music.
