Why are you running for this position in the Student Government Association?

• I’m running for Senator of Commute Students to ensure that the voices and concerns of our commuter community are heard and represented effectively within the UCCS community. Together, we can work towards creating a more inclusive and commuter-friendly campus experience for all.

What past experiences would make you a great candidate for the Student Government Association?

• My past experiences, including active involvement in student organizations, effective communication skills, and a commitment to addressing student needs, uniquely qualify me for the Student Government Association. I have a proven track record of collaboration and a passion for advocating on behalf of my peers, which I believe will contribute significantly to the positive impact I can make as a candidate.

What are some of your hobbies/interests and how are you involved at UCCS?

• I’m actively engaged at UCCS through various avenues, including participation in student-led organizations such as the Black Health Professions Student Organization, which I am the President of. Sisterhood Club, which I serve as the Event Coordinator. Also, I work in the Student Life Office as the Lead Engagement Leader. Outside of campus, I love learning new skills that I may or may not have to use. My diverse interests reflect a commitment to both personal growth and contributing positively to the UCCS community.
