  • President
What is your academic major/educational track?
  • Bachelors of Science in Computer Science.
Why are you running for this position in the Student Government Association?
  • Over the last year I have been an active member of the UCCS campus. As the elected Senator of Engineering , I have participated in most of the events on campus and have heard many achievements and concerns of students and faculty alike. I want to take what I know about the state of campus, the budgets, and those students concerns and be an active leader for positive changes to the campus and students health and wellbeing.
What past experiences would make you a great candidate for the Student Government Association?
  • Current and past student government experience aside, I have a wealth of life experience to draw from. I have time spent as both a volunteer firefighter and an EMT, these experiences have given me a vivid look at the frailty and beauty of life, as well as the ability to stay calm in a crisis . As a GM(Game Master), I have worked with a game shop to create a safe space with planned games, activities and regular tournaments. Finally, past project management experience has given me the business and leadership skills to set complex goals and create the plans to follow through.
What are some of your hobbies/interests and how are you involved at UCCS?
  • My hobbies are building electronic devices, video games, video editing ,and programming . My interests and involvement at UCCS are in the very wellbeing of the students and health of the community on campus . As the Senator of Engineering, I am a current member of Three committees. The rules and organization committee, currently working on a complete policy rewrite. The Budget Advisory Committee (BAC), BAC oversees club funding on campus. The University Budget Advisory Committee(UBAC), UBAC oversees the university budget activity.

  • Vice President
What is your academic major/educational track?
  • Aerospace Engineering
Why are you running for this position in the Student Government Association?
  • I want to help the students who pursue engineering meet their goals and have a great experience here at the university.
What past experiences would make you a great candidate for the Student Government Association?
  • Volunteered for many events over the last few years, all aerospace-related outreach. I am also apart of the DEB Solar Initiative team, sponsored by NASA to record data on the recent eclipse and the upcoming one in April.
What are some of your hobbies/interests and how are you involved at UCCS?
  • I program small projects for various applications and games. I also keep up with modern aerospace news and innovations.
