• Senator of Public Affairs

What is your academic major/educational track?

• I am pursuing a Dual-Degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. After completing my undergraduate degree, I plan to continue my education and attend law school to study criminal law.

Why are you running for this position in the Student Government Association?

• I am running for this position in the SGA because I believe I can do some great things for the School of Public Affairs at UCCS. I am confident that I can foster meaningful connections in and outside our community to bring forth policies that will positively impact the School of Public Affairs and UCCS as a whole.

What past experiences would make you a great candidate for the Student Government Association?

• I have experience in public speaking and believe I can propose ideas in an organized, meaningful manner during SGA meetings.

What are some of your hobbies/interests and how are you involved at UCCS?

• I love outdoor activities such as snowboarding in the winter, and hiking in the warmer months. On campus, I am currently employed at the Student Employment Office as a Student Employment Assistant.
